This book is about the hours leading to the death of Jesus through somber and dark passages from Matthew, Luke, and Mark accompanied by artwork per passage. The Tenebrae, Latin for "darkness" or "shadow", is a religious service held during the three days leading up to Easter. This is a time of reflection of some of the stages beginning at the last supper, with the betrayal of one of the Apostles, and ending with the death and burial of Jesus.
